Camp Cambodia offers you the opportunity to embark on an international cultural exchange program like no other. Your Camp Cambodia odyssey has it all. You will spend 2 days and 2 nights in the capital Phnom Penh, 4 days and 4 nights volunteering at the Cambodian Wildlife Sanctuary, immersing yourself in elephant, other wildlife, and forest conservation projects as well as teaching English to students at the local village school. You will spend another 4 days and nights at a Cambodian village homestay, restoring a historic school and delivering volunteer English lessons to students in the village. The weekends will be yours to enjoy and explore Phnom Penh and Seam Reap.

Camp Cambodia Itinerary


Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap for 3:00pm airport pick up. Great time to start making friends before enjoying a lovely welcome meal and pool party
Day 2 : TukTuk tour of Siem Reap! Explore all the area has to offer by TukTuk, visiting temples, place of the Monk and enjoy a boat ride to the floating villages of Cambodia.
Day 3: Free morning and afternoon before heading out for a Pub Crawl along Siem Reap’s infamous “Pub Street”
Day 4: Free day, relax at the incredible pool at your accommodation or even further explore Siem Reap and everything it has to offer on your own or with your new friends!
Day 5: TEFL Training Session #1 and Khmer Language Lesson #1
Day 6 & 7: Visit the Elephant Sanctuary for a 2-day and 1-night stay. Get up close with these incredible creatures. Bathe them in a local river and feed them, such an amazing experience! Time to get some elephant selfies…
Day 8 & 9 Teach English in the nearby school to the local orphanage children
Day 10: Time to visit Angkor Watt at sunrise. Get up early, travel to the infamous Angkor Watt and sit in awe as the sun rises above the temple. Such a beautiful view and a perfect picture opportunity. After the sunrise, experience a full-guided tour of the temple.
Day 11: Free day. Go out and explore the local villages by bike or relax by the pool.
Day 12: TEFL Training Session #2 and Khmer Language Lesson #2. Visit one of Cambodia’s amazing waterfalls and pools!
Days 13 - 17: Visit “My Grandfathers school” in our home stay experience. You will get to Teach English in Camp Cambodia’s local school, such a rewarding experience.
Day 18: Free day to explore or soak up the sun! Why try some yoga?
Day 19: Cycle to a local Cambodian Silk Village. We will take you on a tour of the village and you will get to meet some of the locals, a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Cambodian culture.
Day 20: Teach at the villages Self Help Community Center or DrVuthy’s School. Meet some incredible Cambodian children and make a real and meaningful difference!
Day 21: Finishing Day of the Program, return to Siem Reap International Airport and say “Au Revoir” to all your new friends
